Making the CrossFit methodology accessible to UT students and faculty.
Bringing CrossFit to UT will create a strong community between people who are interested in getting healthy, fit, and want to better themselves. We will also become involved in our community by volunteering in local competitions and events like The Rogue Invitational.
Bringing CrossFit at UT will provide the resources to students and faculty interested in competing in the sport of CrossFit without having to pay high prices. This will include equipment, programming, and any other resources required to become competitive in the sport.
The business model of a CrossFit box allows for a wide range of approaches to how it is operated. Hence bringing CrossFit to UT, will provide a place for students and faculty interested in sports management, coaching, gym operations, etc., to learn and hone their skills and apply what they learn in the classroom.
Bringing CrossFit to UT will support entrepreneurs at the university who have an idea or product involving the fitness industry by providing mentors and resources to help develop their ideas. CrossFit at UT will help with product-market fit, product development, and offer an ecosystem for product testing.
